Fact: we use a natural oil that can be used on all types of interior wood surfaces. the product we use is called Easy Solo by Ligna Oils, so we do not use regular stains or oils unless requested upon. Easy solo is a natural oil based stain and it is better for the wood as it actually penetrates and nourishes the wood while It also enhances the grain of the wood and protects it from water, stains and premature wear. it also provides an excellent resistance to abrasion and leaves no film on the surface like other stains and oils do.
